We are committed to creating an optimal learning environment for our preschoolers, fostering their curiosity and exploration while promoting their physical and mental well-being.
Our Pre-School caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years, divided into Creche, Nursery, and Foundation stages. We follow the updated Early Years framework, tailored to suit the needs of the Ghanaian community, and regularly refine our activities.
The Pinnacle Star Academy operates on a quarterly schedule, spanning from September to August each year. Our department operates on Montessori principles, emphasizing self-confidence and independence. Each child receives personalized support to nurture their innate love for learning, with a minimum attendance requirement of two days per week for preschoolers.
In the kindergarten group (ages 4 – 6 years), we offer a diverse curriculum including group activities, projects, individual and free play, sports, excursions, early music, art, and English lessons.
Our academic calendar covers the entire year, with weekends and public holidays as the only breaks between terms/quarters.
Natural Discovery
In early years is a way of learning that puts children in the driver’s seat. Children learn by exploring, investigating and testing the world and objects around them.
Numeracy
The capacity, confidence and disposition to use mathematics in daily life. Children bring new mathematical understandings through engaging in problem-solving.
Literacy
The foundation for reading, writing, communicating, and socialising. Early literacy is learning about sounds, words, and language.
